Betty N. Stratton

WESTBOROUGH- Betty N. Stratton, 83, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Merrill Stratton.

Born in Wesleyville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Arthur and Ada (Hayes) Floyd and was educated in England.

Betty was employed as an assembler for Fenwall, Inc in Ashland for 37 ½ years prior to her retirement. In her early years she was a production worker for two bakeries.

Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church and has been a resident of Westborough for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother-in-law, Roy Stratton of Hopkinton; two nieces, Janice Stratton and Susan Stratton and one nephew, Roy Stratton.

She was the sister of the late William Floyd.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at 1:00 P.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, South St., Westborough. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
