Brenda J. Lehan, of Hopkinton, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Lehan.
Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Marie (Antonio) Bodge. She was raised and educated in Westborough and was a 1958 graduate of Westborough High School.
Brenda was employed as an office manager at Bullard Abrasives for many years prior to her retirement. She was also an avid Bingo player and dedicated to her entire family.
She is survived by three children, Joanne B. Thorpe and her husband, Glenn, of Westborough, Richard M. Scobie of Upton and Steven A. “Pete” Scobie of Hopkinton; her siblings, Donna Demers of Marlborough, Rick Bodge of Palm Coast, FL, Susan O’Keefe of Westborough and Gary Bodge of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Justin, Jay, Jessica, Chelsea, Arianna and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren, Josh, David, Hadley and Madilynn and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Douglas Scobie.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, at 11:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Woodville.
A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
