Carol W. Doyle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family was a spirited and fun-loving woman, who was much loved by her family and friends, passed away on February 25, 2025, just shy of her 93d birthday.

Carol was a smart businesswoman who took pride in her work renovating and restoring buildings and apartments that she bought, sold and ran as a small business. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours in her gardens around her homes throughout her life. She loved animals, being outdoors and appreciated all that was the natural world.

Carol loved to laugh and find humor in everyday events, and she loved the beauty of life. She was a creative soul and loved to paint, with many original works to her credit. She was a great cook and shared her love of cooking and good food with family and friends. She loved the arts and appreciated things that were made or built by people.

Carol grew up in Southborough and graduated from Peters High School in Southborough, then went on to Fisher College in Boston. She ultimately graduated cum laude from Framingham State College in 1985 with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.

Carol brought a joyous perspective to the world and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Roger M. MacArthur and her two sons, Roger B. MacArthur and Scott M. MacArthur, and her second husband William Doyle. She leaves behind her daughter Julia Geller and her husband Jon, and her son, Nathan Burns. She also leaves her grandchildren Andrew Geller and wife Hilary, Stephen Geller and wife Megan, and Meredith Streib and husband Ben. She also leaves her 5 great-grandchildren Ari, Jordan, Callie, Greyson and Sienna.

A private family burial will be held in New Hampshire at Great Hill Cemetery in Chester, NH.
