Charles J. Bradshaw, 90, of Westborough, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Claire A. (Henderson) Bradshaw, and his later companion, Doris Woodruff.
Born in National Park, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Catherine (Grace) Bradshaw. He was educated in National Park schools and attended Woodbury High School. He moved his family to Westborough in 1970 when his job was transferred to the area.
Charlie was employed for over 20 years by Digital Equipment Corporation. He enjoyed golfing, was a member of Westborough Country Club, an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus and enjoyed wintering in Crystal River, FL where he had a home and membership at the Plantation on Crystal River golf course.
He is survived by four children, Claire A. Schoonover of Philadelphia, PA, Susan P. Bradshaw and her husband, William Haerle, of Santa Cruz, CA, Charles J. Bradshaw Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Grafton and John Bradshaw of Westborough. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Bradshaw. Charlie also had four grandchildren, Timothy Bradshaw, Mark Bradshaw, Kelhan Letourneau and Matthew Connor, as well as five great-grandchildren.
His graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 1:30 P.M. in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Hopkinton Rd., Westborough. There are no calling hours.
