Charles Santaguida

WESTBOROUGH - Charles Santaguida, 88, of Westborough, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 surrounded by his family at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Modesta and Lydia (Eynard) Santaguida, brother of George Santaguida of El Paso Tx, brother of the late Henry Santaguida and Louise Pisano.  He is survived by his loving nieces Janet, Nancy and Diana; nephews Rik, David and Charles.  Also survived by many other nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Charles was educated in Pennsylvania schools and graduated from Drexel University.  During WW II and the Korean Conflict he served with the U.S. Air Force.  Charles was employed as an engineer for RCA and G.E. prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Cassia Mt. Horeb Lodge #273 A.F. & A.M., enjoyed fishing and has been a resident of Westborough for four years previously living in Drexel Hill, PA.
