Constance B. Murphy

Constance B. Murphy, 84, of Westborough, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough. She was the wife of William T. Murphy.

Born in Blackstone, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Rose M. (Roy) Hourihan. She was educated in Uxbridge and was a 1958 graduate of Uxbridge High School. She also graduated from the Salter Secretarial School.

Connie was employed at Alden Electronics in Westborough for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, enjoyed traveling, gardening and sewing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Gary E. Geer and his wife, Ailene, of Rowland Heights, CA, David D. Geer of Caribou, ME and Peter J. Geer of Grafton; one stepson, Craig T. Murphy and his wife Lynn of Southbridge; two brothers, Daniel J. Hourihan of Milford and Richard J. Hourihan of Cabot, VT; one sister, Janet Hourihan of Auburn; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Connie was predeceased by her siblings, Roseann Beland, Mary Chamberland and James Hourihan.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in St. Luke’s Cemetery will be private.

Calling hours at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Thursday, August 22, from 5 to 7 P.M.
