The children of Corinne Russell Brownell are thankful for the very peaceful passing of their beloved mother on Sunday, 03 June, 2018.
Corinne was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she and her sister, Diana Russell, had many happy days, especially with their two Saint Bernard dogs, Teddy and Duffy. Corinne graduated with an English major from Allegheny College ('50), where she met her husband, William A. Brownell. Through the years, Corinne resided in both Greece and Pittsford NY, nurturing her two children, Elise and Matthew, as well as her insatiable curiosity.
Corinne went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University, Summa Cum Laude, after which she served as a drug and alcohol counselor at Crouse Medical Center, a Managing Supervisor for Syracuse Brick House Behavioral Healthcare and Substance Abuse Rehab Services, and as a Director for Crouse Chemical Dependency Inpatient Treatment Services. During Corinne’s career in alcohol and substance abuse rehab, she resided in Skaneateles, downtown Syracuse/Presidential Plaza, and Dewitt.
Her heart, courage, intelligence, determination and sense of humor will continue on in the memories of her children, their spouses - Peter K. Seperack and Shelly Brownell and her four cherished grandchildren - Adam Seperack, Katherine Seperack, Bradley Brownell and Curtis Brownell.
Godspeed, Mom. Your life is etched in our hearts.
