David J. Valk

David J. Valk, 52, of Whitinsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Milford Regional Medical Center.

Born in Worcester, he was a son of Jerome and Jane (Brasiskis) Valk, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and was raised and educated in Westborough, MA.

David was employed as a laborer.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, drinking a bud bottle, exploring new places, and anything motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Veronica Marinel and her husband Jacob, of Northbridge, and Jasmine Chambers, of Maine ; his grandchild, Ariana Chambers; his siblings, Kenneth Valk of Rochester, MN, Susan O’Neill and her husband Mark, of Maple Glen, PA, and Julie Knode and her husband Galen, of Macungie, PA; his nieces and nephews, Ethan Knode, Benjamin Knode, Sarah O’Neill, Hannah O’Neill, Dermot O’Neill, and River Valk; and his girlfriend Cindy.

David is predeceased by his sister Karen Valk.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 11, in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main Street, Westborough.  Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9 to 10 A.M. in The Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough.
