Donald K. Landroche, Sr.

Westborough

Donald K. Landroche, Sr., 79, of South Dennis, formerly of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2019 at home. He was the husband of Gale A. (Uhlman) Landroche.

Born in Rochester, NH, he was the son of the late John B. and Ruth Dorothy (Pickering) Landroche and was raised and educated in Westborough. Following high school he served four years with the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Corporal.

Don worked for many years for the Westborough Department of Public Works ending his career as Head of Parks and Recreation. He also worked on the Uhlman Family Farm.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 9013 and volunteered for Toys For Tots.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Tina M. Landroche and her husband, David Abts, of LaCenter, WA, Donald K. Landroche, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Westborough, Sherry J. Audette and her husband, Gerry, of Uxbridge, John P. Landroche and his wife, Barbara, of Westborough and eight grandchildren, Megan, Kelsey, Alexandra, John Jr., Jocelyn, Jackson, Michael and Jonathan.

His graveside funeral service, with Military Honors, will be held on Monday, May 13, at 12 Noon in Pine Grove Cemetery, South St., Westborough. There are no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Pickering and Son Westborough Funeral Home.
