WESTBOROUGH- Dorothea M. “Dot” Tetreault, 96, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Kindred Healthcare in Westborough. She was the wife of the late William J. Tetreault.

Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Gertrude (Barron) Burhoe. She was a graduate of Upton High School and attended the Becker School.

Mrs. Tetreault was employed as a bookkeeper for Bay State Abrasives for 25 years prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, was an active member of the Westborough Senior Center, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, dancing, singing, crocheting and knitting.

Dot is survived by one daughter, Virginia M. Toomey and her husband, William, of Berlin; one son, Richard J. Tetreault and his wife, Jill, of Worcester; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Glenn, Tanya, Mandy, Andrew, Emily, William, IV, Heather and Scott; four great grandchildren, Joan, Richard, Carina and William, V and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late William Tetreault and sister of the late Ruth MacConnell and Freeman Burhoe.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26, at 10:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., are Sunday, March 25, from 2 to 5 P.M.
