Douglas E. Hebb, 71, of Marlborough, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. He was the husband of Sandra (Smith) Hebb. Born in Milford, MA, he is the son of Muriel (Cole) Mayotte of Framingham and the step-son of the late Everett "Spud" Mayotte.
During the Viet Nam War he served in the U. S. Marine Corps earning the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Viet Nam Campaign Medal.
He was a member of the VFW, where he served on the Color Guard, and the Southboro Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tammy S. Davis of Milford, Michael L. Hebb and his wife Tina, of Ashland, step-daughter Lynne R. Stacy and her husband, Mark, of Uxbridge, and his nine grandchildren, Ryan, Kiley and Kathryn Davis, Samantha, Stephanie and Joshua Hebb, and Brandon, Justin and Nicole Stacy.
He was the brother of the late Lloyd and Ronald Hebb and grandfather of the late Kelsey Davis.
A graveside committal service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, November 28, at 10:30 A.M. in the Veterans Grove Section of Pine Grove Cemetery, South St., Westborough. There are no calling hours.
