Elaine Collins Ciara

WESTBOROUGH- Elaine Collins Ciara, 78, of Falmouth, formerly of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Mario P. Ciara. Her first husband, Robert M. Collins passed away in 2006.

Born in Stockton, CA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Esther (Webster) Howse. She was educated in Stockton schools and graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton.

Elaine was employed as a receptionist for Southboro Medical Group for many years prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Falmouth and attended St. Luke the Evangelist Church when she resided in Westborough.

Elaine is survived by three sons, Robert M. Collins, Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Wellesley, Kelly P. Collins and his wife, Cheryl, of Westborough and Kevin D. Collins and his wife, Tricia, of Hanover, NH; one daughter, Colleen D. O’Hare of Great Mills, MD; one brother, Elwood D. Howse, Jr., of Mercer Island, WA; one sister, Cheerie Howse of Redwood City, CA and twelve grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 5, at 10:30 A.M in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
