Eva Maria Martin

WESTBOROUGH- Eva Maria Martin, 90, of Westborough, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester. She was the wife of Armand J. Martin.

Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late George and Margerita (Heiser) Trapp and was educated in Germany.

Eva was employed as a registered nurse in Germany working in a hospital.

She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and has been a resident of Westborough since 1993 previously living in Milford, NH.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Inga Spears of Battavia, Ohio; one step daughter, Judy Wheaton of Watertown; a daughter in law, Sabina Loechel of Berlin, Germany; two grandchildren, Patrick Loechel and Philip Loechel; three step grandchildren, Kimberly Halloran, Page Wheaton and Chad Wheaton.

She was the mother of the late Stephen Loechel, step mother of the late Joanne Martin and sister of the late Martin Trapp.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9 to 10 A.M. at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
