Frank J. Marinelli

Frank J. Marinelli, 84, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 surrounded by his devoted family.  Frank was a husband, father, grandfather, executive and friend.  He was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Frank and Josephine (Ranieri) Marinelli.  He was raised in the Brighton/Allston area.

Frank graduated from Boston College where he earned a BS in Business Aministration.  He then proudly joined the United States Navy and attained the rank of lieutenant.  After serving our country, Frank became a computer leasing executive for the next 30 years.  While he had a long and successful career, the love of his life was his wife Maryann (Kochis) Marinelli.  He and Maryann enjoyed traveling and spending summers in Cape Cod.

In addition to Maryann he is survived by his children, Laura Spector and her husband Kenneth, of Southbury, CT, Lisa Giusti and her husband, John, of Hopkinton, MA, Julie Pappalardo and her husband, David, of Hopkinton, MA, Denise Weisch of Silver Springs, MD, Caroline and David; brother Gino Marinelli and his wife Marie, sister Peg Marinelli and Bernie Schlichte; six grandchildren, David, Karen, Brian, Michael, Ava and Kayla and several nieces and nephews.  Frank has now joined his brother Dante Marinelli in heaven who passed away just days before.

Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, December 20 from 5 to 8pm at David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.  His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, at 10:30am at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough.  The burial will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
