Geraldine E. (Chamberlain) Samuelson Green Jordan, 97, died peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough, where she was a resident. Her first husband, Philip W. Samuelson, Sr., died in 1966, her second husband, Kenneth R. Green, died in 1998, and her third husband, Charles H. Jordan, Jr., died in 2012.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Westborough on February 17, 1918, daughter of the late Rachel (Hutchins) and Edward Chamberlain, and attended Westborough schools. After high school, she went to Becker College in Worcester, where she received a secretarial degree, and worked as a secretary for many years.
Mrs. Jordan was a long time member of The Congregational Church of Westborough, was active in the Westborough Players Club, and the Senior Center, where she sang in the chorus. She loved to sing and dance, and continued singing solos at the “Beaumont Sing-a-Longsâ€.
She leaves four children, a daughter, Rosemary S. Waszkiewicz, and her husband Francis, of Worcester, three sons, Philip W. Samuelson, Jr., and his wife Marie, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dana F. Samuelson, and his wife Sharon, of Westborough, and Mark E. Samuelson, and his wife Esther, of Vernon, CT; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren four great, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours and burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 1, at 2:00 P.M. in The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough.
