WESTBOROUGH- Gertrude C. Horohoe, 86, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William P. Horohoe. Mr. and Mrs. Horohoe would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in November.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Doran) Muller and was educated in Brooklyn schools.
Gertrude was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Westborough, she enjoyed traveling and has been a resident of Westborough since 2000 previously living in Framingham. Most of all she was dedicated to her entire family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her five children and their spouses, Patricia Ann Kilcoyne and her husband, Edward, of Northbridge, Barbara Ann Bytheway and her husband, John, of Leominster, Susan G. LeBrun and her husband, Raymond, of Manchester, NH, William P. Horohoe, Jr., and his wife, Martha, of Shrewsbury and Karen M. Marden and her husband, Charles, of Shrewsbury; one brother, Charles Muller and his wife, Carol, of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 12, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Monday, August 11, from 5 to 8 P.M.
