WESTBOROUGH- Helen C. Collentro, 71, of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Gladys (Williams) McKenna. She was educated in Newton and graduated from Our Lady High School in 1958.
Helen was the co-owner of the Quality Equine Laundry in Clinton and also worked as a waitress at Tilz Restaurant in Northborough.
She is survived by her three sons, James P. Collentro, Jr. and Tina Vipraio of Maynard, Donald J. Collentro of Rutland and David A. Collentro and Laureen of Westborough; one sister, Judith A. Chambers of Needham; one brother, Steven A. McKenna of LaGrangeville, NY; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 15, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will be private.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 10 A.M. prior to the funeral Mass at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
