Jan Noel Ryerson

RYERSON, Jan Noel, passed away unexpectedly in Boston on May 1, 2013.  Jan grew up in Litchfield, CT.  She earned Bachelor’s Degrees from Catawba College, North Carolina and Boston University.  Jan taught elementary school in Boston for many years, and recently retired.  She loved, and enjoyed the many arts of Boston.  She was an active member of the social club, Sitzundjibers, in the greater Boston area.  Jan is survived by her three sisters, Joya Ryerson, Seal Beach, CA, Jeri Ryerson Baily, Northboro, MA, Sally Ryerson of Glastonbury, CT, her niece Kristin DiCresenzo of Franklin, MA, her nephew Bryon Baily of Boston and many loving cousins.  There will be a Memorial Church Service at 11:30 on Saturday May 18, 2013 at The Evangelical Covenant Church, 24 Child Hill Road, Woodstock, CT.  Arrangements are being made by Rand, Harper Pickering Funeral Home, Westboro, MA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Steere’s Lyme Disease Research, Development Office, 165 Cambridge St., Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114 are appreciated.
