Joan Carr

Joan Carr (nèe Raymond), 93, of Westborough MA, died at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born in Athol, MA, in 1931 to Merrill Raymond and Arline Raymond. 

Joan was known as the Coupon Queen of New England in the 1980s, and spoke monthly on the radio to the community. Proud of her time working at the Lincoln nursing home, Joan also spent her time working at flea markets and enjoyed searching for vintage jewelry. You could always find her playing bingo, spending time with friends at the Westborough Senior center, or engrossed in a good book. 

Joan was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, William F. Carr in 2018. She leaves behind her four children, Salle Bows of Westborough, Michael Carr of Shrewsbury, Joanne Carr of Vermont, and Patrick Carr of Westborough, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Her services will be held privately with her family.
