Joseph S. Fleming, 90, of Westborough, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough. He was the husband of the late MaryAnn (Lundy) Fleming.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Joseph and Muriel (Spencer) Fleming. He was raised and educated in Shrewsbury and was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School. He also graduated from the University of New Hampshire majoring in History.
During the Korean Conflict he served with the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Joseph owned and operated J. S. Fleming Associates, an HVAC company, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Southboro Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and skiing.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Fleming of Westborough, his son, J. Michael Fleming of Boston and five grandchildren, Joe Fleming, Rachel Fleming, Hunter Gaither, Ace Gaither and Derek Lucas.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Chrissy Gaither.
His funeral service will be on Monday, November 22, at 10:30 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Military Honors will follow. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.
A calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. will precede the service at the church.
