Leonard C. Harris

Leonard C. Harris, 69, of Westborough, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester.

Len grew up in Framingham and graduated from Wentworth Institute with two degrees: mechanical engineering and machine processes. He lived most of his adult life in Westborough. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Nancy Tucker Harris, and his son, William Leonard Harris, grandchildren, Barbara Harris Dingus and Nathan William Harris, and great-grandchildren, Raven Lee and Aaron Dingus.

Len was a gifted craftsman who didn’t know the meaning of the word “can’t”. If he needed a part to repair something and he couldn’t buy it, he made it. He could see humor in almost anything and had a unique gift with words. He was a very quiet man but when he said something it was worth hearing. The world is less bright without him and he will be greatly missed.

Services and burial will be private.
