Lorraine M. Sowa

WESTBOROUGH- Lorraine M. Sowa, 85, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Chester J. Sowa.

Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Velina (Paul) Lundberg and was educated in Westborough schools.

Lorraine was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, was a homemaker dedicated to her home and entire family and has been a lifelong resident of Westborough.

She is survived by her five children, Sharon A. Montalbano and her husband, Andrew, of Westborough, Nancy M. Fallon and her husband, Paul, of Westborough, Francis M. Sowa of Westborough, Sandra J. Norris and her husband, Michael, of Dover, NH and Ellen L. Sowa and her partner, Leslie Chambers, of Grafton; one brother, Robert M. Lundberg, Jr.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Sowa and grandson, Greg Montalbano.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 20, at 12 Noon in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Friday, December 19, from 3 to 7 P.M.
