Marie P. Jasiewicz of Old Colony Drive, Westborough passed away on Friday January 20th from complications caused by a stroke the previous week. She leaves her husband of over 60 years, Theodore M. Jasiewicz. She leaves her son Theodore J and his wife Martina, her second son Robert, her granddaughter Danielle, and her grandson Teddy. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert, and her parents John and Bertha.
Marie was born on March 21st, 1937 in Stowe, PA to John P Plesko and Bertha Soltesz. Marie was a homemaker, an organizer, a cook, an antique collector and the backbone of a family that participated in all sports, music, and family visits. Marie was extremely fond of spending time with her grandchildren who knew her as GranMarie. She followed all of the Boston sports teams, but enjoyed following the Celtics and the Bruins most of all from as early as 1972.
Marie was active in her church St. Luke’s in Westborough. She was a CCD teacher, a Liturgy Committee member, and was involved in several other St. Luke’s activities. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Luke’s Church in memory of Marie.
A celebration mass in Marie’s memory will be held at St. Luke’s Church 70 West Main Street Westborough on Saturday January 28th, at 12:00 noon.
Marie’s family would like to thank all of the families from Cabot Circle, Old Colony Drive, relatives from the Jasiewicz and Plasco families, and friends for their support, help and love.
