Mary V. Benoit

Mary V. Benoit, 94, of Westborough, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Cuddy) Malloy. She was educated in Framingham and was a 1948 graduate of Framingham High School.

Mary was employed as the Accounting Manager for Zayre/TJ Maxx and then Expense Payable Manager for Pantresse prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, enjoyed playing Bingo and Bridge at the Senior Center and Golfing.

Mary is survived by five children, Charles M. Benoit and his wife, Tina, of Brasher Falls, NY, Sheila M. Wenc of West Brookfield, Donna M. Perry of Westborough, Paula Hogan and her husband, Lawrence, of Northborough and Vincent P. Benoit and his wife, Sheila, of West Brookfield: ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their children whom she dearly loved as well.

She was the mother of the late Francis X. Benoit, mother-in-law of the late Francis Wenc and George Perry and sister of the late Thomas Malloy, John Malloy, Margaret Desilets and Helen Smith.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 26, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Framingham.

Calling hours at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Wednesday, September 25, from 5 to 7 P.M.
