WESTBOROUGH- Mary A. Collins, 74, of Westborough, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Worcester Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was the wife of Donald W. Collins, Sr.
Born in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Cassidy) Sharpe. She was educated in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School.
Mary was employed as an assembler in the electronics department at Data General prior to her retirement. She was also a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her six children, Mary Elizabeth Collins of Westborough, Margaret M. Jankins of Hanover, Donald W. Collins, Jr. of Laramie, Wyoming, Arthur J. Collins of Cumberland, RI, Sharon T. Collins of Laramie, Wyoming and Kathleen D. Collins of Boston; one brother, George Sharpe and two sisters, Elizabeth Sharpe and Theresa Sharpe all of Waltham; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 12, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Tuesday, February 11, from 4 to 7 P.M.
