Mary P. O’Regan, 89, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late James F. O’Regan.
Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Stalilonis) Rogaishio and was educated in Framingham and Natick schools.
During WW II Mary was employed as a secretary in Washington, D.C. In later years she was a homemaker dedicated to her home and family.
Mary was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, was a member of the Women of St. Luke’s and St. Luke’s Senior Adults. She volunteered for many years for Catholic Charities. She was also a member of the Westborough Country Club and Worcester Country Club. She was an avid skier, golfer and artist and enjoyed playing Bridge.
She is survived by her four children, Michael J. O’Regan and his wife, Debora, of Westborough, Mary Jean O’Regan of Portland, Maine, Diane O’Regan and her husband, Glen Orsi, of Maui, HI and Brian T. O’Regan of Northborough; one brother, Edward Rogaishio of Framingham; six grandchildren, Shawn O’Regan, Katelin O’Regan, Courtney O’Regan, Timothy O’Regan, Jared Libby and Liam Broderick and five great grandchildren, Bailey, Bella, Trey, Milan and Satya.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Sadagopan, Dr. Goyal, the nursing staff at St. Vincent Hospital and to the nursing staff at Beaumont in Westborough for their exceptional care.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 22, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
