Mesrob M. Maljanian

Mesrob M. “Marty” Maljanian, 85, of Westborough, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital.

Born in Westborough, he was the son of the late Martin and Takoohi (Najanian) Maljanian. He was raised and educated in Westborough.

Mesrob was employed as a barber at the family barber shop, Sanitary Barber Shop for many years retiring in 2005.

He was a member of The Congregational Church of Westborough, belonged to a Rifle Club, enjoyed painting, watching sports, playing pool, crossword puzzles and the games of Bingo and Venture.

He is survived by one brother, John Maljanian of Newington, CT and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Karnig Maljanian.

His funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 11, at 11:00 A.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
