Nancy P. Cook, 87, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Coleman House in Northborough. She was the wife of Harrison K. “Harry” Cook.
Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Ann (Loker) Purrington. She was a graduate of Northfield High School and attended Wesleyan College. She also completed a course at Fischer Junior College in programming language.
Nancy was employed as a teacher’s aide to Professor Harrison K. Cook. She was a former active member of The Congregational Church. She enjoyed Counted Cross Stitching and quilting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, David Weaver of Livermore, CA and Stephen Weaver of Daytona Beach, FL, two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Kelly of Massina, NY and Susan Pauly of Ohio. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10, at 10:00 A.M. in The First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Sunday, March 9, from 2 to 4 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coleman House Activities Fund, 112 West Main St., Northborough, MA 01532.
