Nancyne M. Forzese

Nancyne Marie Forzese, 86, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Northborough, Massachusetts. Nancyne was born on February 19,1939 in Woburn, MA to the late Marguerite Toomoth Cunio and John Vincent Cunio of Billerica, MA. She married Carmelo “Carmen” Forzese in September 1967 and had 2 children, Darren and Jessica. She and Carmen raised their children in North Andover, MA.

Nancyne loved and adored her family and friends wholeheartedly. She had no greater joy than to help raise her two grandchildren, Ash and Bree. She never missed an event (big or small) and treasured their adventures together (near or far). She was fortunate to have wonderful lifelong friends, Arlene, Barbara, Bertha and Marilyn, who she absolutely cherished. Nancyne was very close to her younger sister, Coralee, despite their large age gap. Nancyne’s love and appreciation for Coralee only grew as time passed.

Nancyne had a quick wit and loved to laugh. She was a devout Catholic with a strong faith. Nancyne had many hobbies that she truly enjoyed. She loved to garden, spending many days planting flowers and herbs for all to enjoy. She proudly learned calligraphy so that she could address all her daughter’s wedding invitations. She often relaxed by reading historical fiction or bird watching. But most of all, she loved having an occasional Beefeater gin and tonic or a sweet treat.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Toomoth Cunio and John Vincent Cunio of Billerica, MA.; her husband Carmelo ”Carmen” Forzese and her brothers, Brian Cunio and Garry Cunio. She is survived by: her children, Darren Forzese and Jessica Nichols, sister Coralee Gendron, her grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 4 to 6 P.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, an organization Nancyne supported.
