Nita A. Holt

WESTBOROUGH- Nita A. Holt, 87, of Westborough, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Holt.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Antoinette (Morel) deBairos. She was educated in Marlborough schools and attended Regis College and Fay Secretarial School.

Nita retired from Prime Computer and Banyan Systems where she was employed as an Executive Administrative Assistant in Corporate Communications and International Sales.

She was a member of the Board of Trustees for The Bridge of Central Massachusetts,  a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, was a member of the Parish Council and taught CCD for 16 years.

Mrs. Holt had many hobbies, her favorite was pressing wild flowers which she then made into greeting cards.

Nita is survived by three sons, Peter A. Holt of Salem, Matthew J. Holt of Westborough and Christopher J. Holt of Sacramento, CA; one brother, John deBairos of Marlborough; three grandchildren, Matthew, Ksenia and Ethan and nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Pauline Charbonneau and Mary Walsh.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will be private.

Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Thursday, June 18, from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
