Paul John Eliopoulos, 76, of Westboro, MA, passed away on April 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Hartford, CT, Paul grew up in Worcester, MA, where he attended South High School and distinguished himself as a standout athlete. He was a proud member of the football team and earned All-City, All-State, and All-American honors. His exceptional talent on the field earned him a scholarship to play collegiate football, and he went on to graduate from CW Post (Long Island University) with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Following college, Paul’s dedication and perseverance led him to walk on to the Denver Broncos NFL team.

Paul went on to have a successful 30-year career as a division manager in the spirits industry. He played a key role in expanding the presence of Franzia Wines in New England and also worked with Monsieur Henri Wines, a division of Pepsi Cola, before contributing to the significant growth of Don Sebastiani Vineyards throughout the region. His achievements were recognized with numerous industry awards and accolades. He and his wife, Lynne Mautner Eliopoulos, settled in Westboro, MA, where they built a life and home together over the past 48 years.

Above all, Paul cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lynne; his daughters Jill Pollak and husband Patrick of Conroe, TX, Alexis Eliopoulos O’Mara and husband Brian of Reading, MA, and Stacy Andreotes and husband Jason of Frisco, TX; and his adored grandchildren Duncan and Cameron O’Mara, Brooke Pollak, Weston and Paxton Andreotes. He also leaves behind his sister, Gloria Kelley her husband Jim and their children Megan, Jocelyn and Connor, and friends and extended family who will miss him dearly. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Eliopoulos, and his sisters, Martha Bedard, Joanna Ayoub and Francine Verge.

Paul will be remembered for his love of family, strength of character, and his wonderful sense of humor. His legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cheng Du Restaurant in Westboro on Saturday, May 3rd from 12:30 PM to 4 PM.
