FRAMINGHAM- Ralph F. Dwinnell, 79, of Framingham, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at home.
Born in Milford, MA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Edna (Morse) Dwinnell. He was raised and educated in Westborough and was a 1954 graduate of Westborough High School.
During the Korean Conflict he served with the U. S. Army.
Ralph was a self-employed contractor in the construction field working throughout the greater area. He has been a resident of Framingham for over 30 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Benson of Sturbridge and Tina Dumais and her husband, Willard, of Hopkinton; four grandchildren, Michele Benson, Kevin Benson, Michael O’Gorman and Joshua Dover; four great grandchildren and extended family members.
Ralph was pre deceased by his devoted companion, Polly Keesler, three brothers, Charles, Willis and Howard and one sister, Ethel St. George.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, at 10:00 A.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, South St., Westborough. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow.
Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Sunday, July 6, from 2 to 5 P.M.
