Worcester - Richard “Dick” Tetreault, 68, passed away on Sunday, July 24th 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jill (Anderson) Tetreault; his children Tanya J. (Tetreault) Weckback, Andrew S. Tetreault, and Emily J. Tetreault; his sister Virginia M. (Tetreault) Toomey; his beloved grandchildren, Joan D. Weckback, Richard J. Weckback, and Merelle R. Tetreault, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dick grew up in Westborough, son of the late William J. and Dorothea M. (Burhoe) Tetreault, and brother of the late William F. Tetreault. He graduated from Westborough High School in 1967, and bravely fought for his country in the Vietnam War. He served two tours of duty and was awarded numerous honors, most notably the Air Medal.
Dick was loved by his family and many friends for his unwavering dedication, loyalty, and sense of humor. He was a humble, hardworking, and generous man, remembered for his quiet, friendly demeanor, his ease with small children, and his love for Boston sports teams and Cherry Coke.
A memorial service will be held for Dick in the Parkman Chapel of The Congregational Church of Westborough, corner of West Main St. and Church St., Westborough on Saturday, August 13th at 11:00 A. M. Please dress casually.
