Shirley M. Woodbury, 85, of Webster passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the UMass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Hospital, in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Woodbury, Sr.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Germaine) Rabouin and was educated in Worcester schools.
Shirley had many careers, including house painting, home health aide and also at one time owned a consignment shop called Nu Tu Yu in Harwich. In later years she worked as a personal chef for several families.
She has been a resident of Webster for the past five years and enjoyed oil painting and cooking.
Shirley is survived by three children, Cheryl A. Martocchio and her husband, William, of Sturbridge, Cynthia M. Johnson of Webster and Craig S. Boniface of Charlton; two sisters, Charlotte Paravano and her husband, Anthony, of Uxbridge and Paulette Schmieder and her husband, James, of Indiana; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Cathy Correia and Carl Johnson and sister of the late Theodore and Kenneth Rabouin.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, at 11:00 A.M. in the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Westborough.
A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
