Susie D. Van Keuren Andrews

Susie D. Van Keuren Andrews, of Westborough, passed away on March 5th at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough, MA after a long battle with dementia. 

Susie was born on March 9, 1938, in Springfield, MA to Mary and Pasquale Criscio. She was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary’s HS and a Graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. After raising her family, she worked at the Westborough Nursing Center for many years retiring in 2001 as the Director of Nursing. During her time there, she started the Alzheimer unit and received numerous awards for the high level of service and care.

In retirement, she enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed traveling. She resided in Westborough for the last 60 years. 

Susie leaves behind her daughter Mary Beth Van Keuren and her husband James McElreavy of Warren, ME, her son Edward Van Keuren and his wife Alison of Mattapoisett, MA and her daughter Cynthia Arnold and her husband John Arnold of Westborough. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Briana and Cooper Arnold of Westborough and Zoe, Nolan and Cabot Van Keuren of Mattapoisett. Susie’s husband Henry Andews predeceased her, passing away on January 10th of this year. Susie is also survived by her sister Maryann Cullinan of Westfield and was predeceased by her sister Patricia Stow of Potomac, MD.

 She will be laid to rest in Westfield, MA with her parents. There will be a private burial service for the immediate family.
