Thomas Russell Bottger, 4, of Westborough, died on Friday, July 7, 2017, at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Campus in Worcester, after a difficult battle with congenital heart disease.
He leaves behind his parents, Troy and Karen Bottger; his grandparents, Richard and Linda Letendre and Melvin and Saundra Bottger; his uncles and aunts, Jeffrey and Lisa Letendre and Martin and Ginger Apprich; and his cousins, Gabrielle and Madelyn Letendre, Alyssa Apprich, and Matthew McStay and his wife Christa and their child Isabella.
He touched many lives during his short life and was surrounded by friends and family who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, on Wednesday, July 12, from 5 to 7 P.M. Children are welcome. All are invited to the house afterwards at 14 Kings Grant Road in Westborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following places that were prominent in Tom’s life:
Boston Children’s Hospital so that other children with congenital heart disease can live longer, healthier and happy lives
The Westborough Public Library, (checks can be made payable to "Friends of the Westborough Public Library"), where Tom spent many hours playing with toys and reading books.
Knowledge Beginnings of Westborough and Hastings Elementary School of Westborough, where Tom had many wonderful friends and teachers.
