Virginia E. Edmunds

Virginia E. Edmunds, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Edmunds.

Born in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sybil (Crammond) Foley. She was raised and educated in Westborough and was a graduate of Westborough High School.

Virginia was a bookkeeper for Duplicon in Westborough and then became co-owner of Virgo Metal Stamping in Worcester.

She enjoyed harness horses and gardening.

She is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Weir and her husband, William, of Boylston; one brother, Gerald Foley of Westborough; one grandson, William Weir and a great-grandson, Jacob Weir.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Eric Weir, a sister, Nancy Rebakas and a brother Alden Foley.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 24, at 11:00 A.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, South St., Westborough. A calling hour will precede the graveside service from 9 to 10:30 A.M. at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
