William P. Horohoe, 92, of Westborough, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 9, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband to the love of his life for 64 years, the late Gertrude C. (Muller) Horohoe.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Lester and Mary (Callahan) Horohoe. He was educated in Brooklyn schools and graduated from St. Francis College with a degree in Economics.
During WW II he served with the United States Navy.
William was the President of John T. Clark and Son of Boston, Stevedore and Marine Operations for 33 years also, he was President of the Boston Shipping Association.
He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan.
William is survived by his five children, Patricia Ann Kilcoyne of Northbridge, Barbara Ann Bytheway and her husband, John, of Leominster, Susan G. LeBrun and her husband, Raymond, of Manchester, NH, William P. Horohoe, Jr., and his wife, Martha, of Shrewsbury and Karen M. Marden and her husband, Charles, of Shrewsbury; one brother, Jack Horohoe and his wife, Dorsey, of Toms River, NJ; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February, 13, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
A calling hour will be on Tuesday from 9 to 10 A.M. at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, prior to the Mass.
