Our History
Located in beautiful downtown Westborough, MA, Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home (formerly Rand-Harper-Pickering Funeral Home) has served the Westborough area since 1880.
The funeral home is proud of its history of serving residents of all faiths of the Westborough and surrounding communities with affordable, dignified and compassionate service.
To honor this commitment, the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home will place a staff of the finest, caring personnel at your service. The funeral home provides an outstanding facility for the comfort of the families we serve. The Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home will work with you to personalize your arrangements so that they are most meaningful to you, and we encourage and welcome your thoughts and wishes.
Since 1996, the funeral home has been owned and operated by Westborough resident David Pickering. In 2008, David assumed ownership of Britton-Summers Funeral Home, which has served Westborough families for over 60 years. Recently, the funeral home facilities were merged. David is proud to have his son, Andrew, as a licensed funeral director on staff.
David is also the owner and director of Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home. David, Andrew and their staff, will operate both facilities with the same dignified and compassionate service that Westborough, Upton and surrounding communities have become accustomed to.
